For sale is a rare vintage AMS S-DMX Dual Channel Digital Delay Line / Pitch Changer / Sampler Advanced Music Systems Rack Effect made in Burnley England. This is a later serial #5017 and later model name / faceplate graphics (compare wording on front faceplates to earlier serial numbers which might say "AMS Advanced Music Systems Model DMX15-80 S Computer Controlled Stereo Digital Delay."). From original owner's smoke-free private home studio. Previously owned by David Frangioni (CEO of Modern Drummer magazine, David has worked with artists such as Shakira, Journey, Kiss, Ozzy Osbourne and many more). It's in great shape for its age with some wear from racking. Tested and 100% fully functional. It's a true stereo unit (and not a broadcast or mono unit as you might see in other listings). Both A & B delays have 6.515s max delay time. Classic effect unit, nothing else sounds quite as cool as these old AMS rack effects.
