For sale is a bundle of 5x Cheetah Drum pads. We believe these go with a Cheetah DP-5 kit circa 1988 (thanks to a helpful tip from a Cheetah DP-5 kit owner), which originally was the Cheetah MD-8 drum machine and an interface box. Please do your own research to verify this information. The listing includes only the 5 pictured drum pads. They are tested and working.
Some background history on Cheetah sent in by the Cheetah DP-5 kit owner: Later Cheetah released the MD-16 16-bit drum machine in 1991 with a separate P2M pads to midi interface box with 8 inputs, followed by the release of the MD16R as a 1U rack unit (it still needs the P2M to work with pads). The MD16RP was a P2M built into the 2U rack to work as an all-in-one drum system (note it was not a sampler). The pads sold here in this listing are the same design as the Honky Tonk Music Klone Kits from 1983-1987, and we'd guess Cheetah may have licensed the same pad design for their own units.
