Retro Gear Shop is now taking outside repairs! Established in 2017, Retro Gear Shop has become the premier destination for high-end, rare and vintage recording equipment. We specialize in vintage audio gear ranging from synthesizers to tube amps. Our in-house design team can build-to-order custom chassis and power supplies, as well as implement modifications to enhance your favorite equipment. We also offer studio installations, cabling packages, and console commissioning/decommissioning.



Rates & Scheduling

We require a $200 non-refundable deposit to cover our bench fee at the time of drop-off or prior to shipping an item in for repair. This deposit will be applied as a credit to the final invoice. Turnaround time is based on current volume and repairs will be done in the order in which they are received. Our repair rate is $125 per hour or $250 per hour for jobs needing immediate attention. A quote will be provided after an initial bench test, but is not guaranteed. No work will be performed without customer consent.



Warranty

All repairs come with a 90-day warranty on work performed. We do not warranty tubes, but all tubes are tested prior to use.



Payments

All invoices can be paid via Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App. Credit cards will be assessed an additional 2.6% - 3.6% processing fee depending on the card used (3.6% - 4.6% for international card payments). Sales tax is collected in the states of Tennessee and Florida.



Completed Work

Invoices must be paid in full within 14 days of receipt. Any invoice not paid within 14 days will be charged 5% interest per week. Any item not picked up within 14 days will be subject to a $25 per week storage fee.
