For sale is a rare vintage Roland Jupiter 8 analog polyphonic synthesizer keyboard. This one has some wear and is not fully functional. It powers up and makes sounds but will need some servicing to get it fully working. Due to being backed up on repair projects right now, we are selling this as-is for a discounted price. Jupiter 8's are selling for up to $30k - $40k. Due to the condition, we are selling this for parts/repairs, no warranties, guarantees, refunds or returns. Operates at 220v.
Our tech took some time to make an assessment of functions. This might not be a complete list but a preliminary assessment:
- Autotune fails, most likely due to 4 dead voices.
- Envelopes not working properly.
- Buttons/switches/pots/faders all need cleaning, some need replacement.
- Very dirty and lots of cleaning to be done.
- All functions work on the voices that are not dead.
