For sale is a rare vintage Western Electric RA1142 multi-pattern dynamic / ribbon microphone. It's in excellent shape, cosmetically very clean for its age. This one came from a mic collector's private climate controlled home storage and was not in use for many years. Fully functional and just got back from servicing including new XLR cable. The only issue worth mentioning is not all pattern settings are working, this is normal issue with these old mics due to wear on the rotation on the setting switch, and it is a difficult part to find replacement. These are set to dynamic+ribbon mode. It sounds really lovely and looks just as lovely too with the vintage style. We have two available (serial #255 & #295). Listed price is for one mic.
