For sale is a rare vintage RCA 86-A1 tube compressor limiting amplifier. This predates the classic RCA BA6A and is a legendary compressor in its own right. This particular one is in excellent shape, tested and fully functional. It comes from Reid Shippen's studio here in Nashville TN (Grammy award winning mixer/producer), where he has recorded and mixed many great artists through this very piece. Reid had the unit 100% fully restored before bringing it in to us. It's in beautiful shape and ready to go for the next studio owner. Includes pictured manual and spare rectifier tube.
