For sale is a rare vintage ADM 32x24 770 recording console from the 1970s. These are loaded with 32 channels of the awesome 770 discrete mic pre / inductor eqs with 2520 style opamps and UTC transformers. This was decommissioned approximately 3 years ago from a working studio, and was fully restored (as shown on the console plaque) by Bruce E. Dale. It has been kept in climate controlled storage since then. We have not had time to test it and it is still sold as-is, no warranties or guarantees. We can have our technicians power it up before sale with a full test and servicing as needed for additional cost. It includes loads of spares/extras, like a meter bridge with plasma LEDs, manual, monitors, spare parts including a very useful testing jig that makes it easy to test and service modules and a full patchbay including all cabling. The pictured spare modules in the last two photos (301, 302) are available for additional price. This is an amazing sounding vintage desk. The top wood bridge is removable and is for populating with the plasma meter bridge, but it is not necessary, I believe you can also monitor through the included monitor-screen. The raw modules in the desk alone in this unit are worth the asking price, including 32x 770 preamp/eq modules and 24 301/302 gate compressor modules, which alone sell for $400 and up each unracked, over $20k in just module value right there.
Approximate desk dimensions:
105" width
46" depth
29.5" height to the armrest
37" height at the rear
47" height including the wood meter bridge
This will be professionally crated and freight shipped.
