For sale is a unique setup: two rare vintage Ampex AM10 mixers with one Ampex meter bridge plus a stereo pair of Fairchild 663 passive optical compressors all in a rack case. The Fairchild 663 modules on their own go for $1k a piece, so it's $2k in value right there. This makes for a great portable analog mixer setup. Everything is working great except some of the pots are scratchy and could use a cleaning (they are sealed so sometimes they improve just by exercising/using them). Inputs are mic level. The compressors are pre meter bridge. Compressors are powered off the meter bridge and turned on by the “Lights” switch on the meter bridge. We can also include 4x Ampex Microphone Preamplifier Catalog No. 401006-01 plug-in mic pres for an additional $260, in case you want a different flavor for the mic pre.
