For sale is a rare vintage Gretsch 1956 Country Club Guitar. It's just been setup in house by our guitar tech. It's tested and working, includes original Lifton case and original incomplete bridge. Restrung and set up with Stringjoy 10/48s. Serial #17623. According to the serial number and Gretsch website dating these guitars, this is a 1956, but an early one and has features of a 1955 model. Gretsch often overlapped specs and features between different model years and serial numbers aren't always 100% accurate. More info on Gretsch serial number accuracy and variance can be found on specific Gretsch sites. The guitar weighs 7lbs and has a fairly wide "D" neck profile.
