For sale is a rare vintage AWA Limiter with Big-1 1G64830 Program Control Amplifier, 1R64837 Limiting Module and 1R63835 Gating Program Control Module. These AWA's limiters are regarded as a similar style to vintage solid-state Pye compressors. Our techs tested the unit out and found the Limiting module to be working and sounding great. The Gating module does not work and doesn't seem to be fully hooked up and we don't believe it can be in this configuration. The Gating unit when plugged in starves the PSU with power and makes the limiter not function properly. It would need a full service and a lot of time to figure out whats going on with the gating. We are including the Gating module as a free add on, but the Gating module should not be used with the rack and is sold as-is, non-functional. The limiter module does work as it should.
