Evolution Acoustics Pro Evolution v.1 Reference System Studio Monitors Package

The Evolution Acoustics Pro evolution v.1 package is more than just a speaker system; it is a profound revolution in professional mixing. Conceived to deliver “Better mixes, Faster,” this package resolves the age-old challenges of mix translation and dynamic accuracy. By achieving unprecedented Full-Range Frequency Cohesion and delivering Real Dynamics, the system ensures that what you hear in your studio effortlessly translates to any playback system. This meticulously tuned package guarantees an Effortless Translation that empowers mixers and producers to work with unparalleled speed and confidence.

At the core of the v.1 system is an unprecedented sound designed to perform perfectly in any acoustic environment. The monitors achieve full-range frequency and dynamic cohesion that works for any style of mixing and, crucially, without the need for a separate sub—a feature unheard of in a system this size. Mixers will immediately notice the ability to dial in punch and detail at all volume levels, ensuring deep low-end information is clear and accurate. The result is a monitoring experience that delivers fidelity and trust where other systems fail.

This performance is rooted in innovative design and acoustic technology never before offered to the pro audio market. The system features an industry-first series crossover that incorporates frequency, phase, and distortion correction utilizing the highest quality internal parts. Combined with a fast and huge excursion driver—a 5.5” long throw ceramic matrix midwoofer capable of 24mm of linear excursion—the system delivers a sound that is both accurate and natural, all housed in a remarkably tiny box.

The v.1 package is delivered as a finely tuned package, demonstrating an exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. Every unit is quality controlled / tested in California and comes complete with curated upgrades specifically chosen for professional audio tuning. These components include a Shunyata Research THETA NR power cord, Cardas Audio XLR input cables, and a custom Acme Audio Labs Ceramic fuse, which fine-tunes the system for maximum mix translation. Furthermore, every package undergoes a rigorous pre-shipping 40-day/1000-hour burn-in using a 10 Hz sine wave and ocean waves to ensure peak quality and performance straight out of the box.

The Evolution Acoustics Pro v.1 is the result of exceptional collaboration, born from the brilliant mind of speaker designer Kevin Malmgren and expertly voiced for mixers by mastering engineer Brian Lucey. Kevin Malmgren, a third-generation speaker designer with over four decades of engineering expertise, designed and engineered the system in San Diego, California. Brian Lucey, credited on thousands of records across every style, collaborated with Kevin on the voicing of the amplifier and the selection of the critical component upgrades, guaranteeing a world-class monitoring solution built upon the legacy of Evolution Acoustics.
