Packed into an all-aluminum body, the Type-21 employs a unique transformerless circuit built around a low-noise JFET, precision resistors, and carefully selected tantalum and film capacitors to deliver a rich, dimensional sound with exceptional clarity. This compact footprint makes it ideal for drum rooms, guitar cabs, vocal booths, and any confined space where a classic 251-inspired tone is needed without the bulk.
