For sale is a used Sontec MEP-250C Parametric Equalizer. It's tested but has a few issues. Contact us to see a video from our tech bench. Here's our tech report:
- Left channel Lo Q, Hi Freq/Q, and Hi Shelf Freq knobs are intermittent (signal will cut in/out when turned)
- Left channel Hi Level control is intermittent / not working altogether
- Right channel exhibits some hissing / thumping intermittently with no input signal, intermittency affected by physically moving the unit
- Right channel Mid Level control is dirty / intermittent
There is some cosmetic wear, mostly rack rash scratches on top/bottom from racking. We are too backed up on projects right now to service it. This is sold as-is, for parts/repairs, no warranties, guarantees, refunds or returns.
