The last step before "finished"
There's a point in every mix where the parts are right but the whole isn't breathing as one yet. The VTC closes that gap – it pulls a mix together until it stops sounding like tracks and starts sounding like a record.
It does this the old way: an all-tube Vari-Mu signal path, the same principle behind the legendary Fairchild 670. But where vintage units can feel temperamental, the VTC is built to be effortless.
What can the VTC do with your music?
• It compresses your mix and glues it together.
• It clears up the bass and low midrange and gives it definition.
• It adds a golden finish to your sound.
Why it's so easy
• Simply turn up the input so that the music is compressed sufficiently.
• Get the right timing with Attack and Release.
• Adjust the output level.
• Finished!
Even at high compression, the liveliness and micro-dynamics are preserved. The VTC matches your music. With its 'gilded' tube sound and beautifully soft compression, it merges a mix into a homogeneous whole.
The VTC suits the mix bus, solo instruments and subgroups.
For the accurate reproduction of all settings, every control is equipped with 42 steps. By default the VTC runs as a linked stereo pair. Switch the link off and the two channels work independently – for two separate mono signals.
Try it out for yourself! Register now and we will send you the VTC for 14 days so you can test it without any risks or liabilities.
