For sale is a rare vintage Teac A3340S 1/4" four track reel-to-reel tape machine. It's in great shape overall for its age. Comes as pictured, no tape included. Includes AC power cable. We did a brief 1 hour test. The tape counter doesn't work. Track 2 record indicator doesn't work. Pinch roller would not engage and playback speed was not regulated for the first 30 minutes of testing. Exercised switches and pots to clean up intermittent issues. Pinch roller started working and playback speed was stable. Recorded on all 4 tracks in both high and low speeds and successfully played back recorded material. We have a 5 minute test video we can share if requested. According to previous owner, this sat mostly unused in a private home recording setup for many years. It might need a professional servicing and calibration to get it running to factory spec. Due to the vintage nature of this item, it is sold as-is, no returns, refunds or warranties. We do not specialize in tape machine reel to reel servicing and described it as accurately as we could.
