For sale is a rare vintage Neumann M249 microphone pair. This is from historic Ardent Studios in Memphis TN, home to hundreds of classic recordings including many Gold, Platinum and Grammy-winning records (Led Zeppelin III, Big Star, loads of ZZ Top, The Staples Singers, Isaac Hayes, Leon Russell, The Bar-Kays, Bob Dylan, The White Stripes and many more). Authenticity paperwork will be provided to the winning buyer (you can also see Ardent identification plate on one of the power supplies). Serial numbers are quite close, #276 and #285. Includes microphone cables, mike yokes and original Neumann power supplies. The M249 is identical to the M49 except the M249 has a 7-pin tuchel connector which provides better EMI/RF rejection, while the M49 has an 8-pin bayonet locking connector. These have been recently professionally checked out and serviced as needed and are fully functional. Sounds amazing as vintage Neumann M249s should.
