For sale is a rare vintage Yamaha TX802 FM Tone Generator. It's tested and working. No cartridge is included. The only issue worth mentioning is the backlight is out on the screen, as common for these old units. You can still read the screen just fine, but it doesn't have a bright green glow to it. This is like a rack-module version of a Yamaha DX7mkII. There are 128 preset and 64 user patches, 16-voices of polyphony and six digital FM Operators, with full 8-part multi-timbral operation for key mapping and/or sequencing.
