The Dual MADI card has two bidirectional MADI ports for insertion of SFP modules. Depending on the requirements for connectivity the SFP modules can be optical for single or multimode fibre connection or electrical for coaxial cable connection via HD-BNC connectors.
The Card provides two independent MADI connections each with 64 input channels and 64 output channels @ 48 kHz. For each MADI port sample rate conversion can enabled for input and outputs independently.
• 2 x 64 channels in and out @ 44.1 and 48kHz (1FS)
• 2 x MADI I/O ports via SFP modules
• Sample rates: 44.1 to 384kHz
• Channel count per MADI port @ 2FS: 32 ch, 4FS: 16 ch, 8FS: 8 ch
• Support for legacy (SMUX) and high-speed frame mode
• Support for 64 and 56 channels
• Synchronisation to MADI input or internal system clock
• Sample Rate Converter on input and output port which can be selected independently
• Compatible with Optical LC and HD-BNC SFP modules
• Latency on Sample Rate Conversion
In: 48->96 and 96->48: Approx. 0.8ms
Out: 48->96 and 96->48: Approx. 1.1ms
