For sale is a rare vintage Fender Bassman 1965 Guitar Amp Head Tube Amplifier. Tested and fully functional, with 3-prong power cable. It does have some cosmetic wear as expected for its age. Based on partial tube chart stamp and transformer codes this appears to be a 1965 model. Tubes are all tested good. We aren't an amp specialty store, so please do your own research to verify, but our in-house amp tech think's this is an AB165. Unlike the AA864, the AB165's Bass and Normal channels can be jumpered and the output signal will remain in phase. Our tech was able to accomplish this test with our amp, and with a transformer code giving us a "March 22-28 of 1965" build date it would make sense that this amp is an AB165. Message us if you'd like to see a video showing the jumpered-channel phase test.
