For sale is a rare vintage stereo pair of 1970s Helios Brown Face Microphone Preamps Equalizers analog channel strips. These are type 7779, a later model of Type 69. Serial number 12 & 13. Mic pre, four band EQ with high and low pass filters. Very versatile and a lovely sweet warm tone when pushing the pres. These are in great shape and sound incredible. They will be fully serviced and professionally rack mounted. According to previously owner, these came from Studio Tempo in Montreal (see last picture for archival photo from the studio of the console). Digital scan of schematics will be included with the sale. Incredibly hard to find, legendary Helios modules on par with vintage Neve or API quality. Famous artists who recorded in the '70s with Helios consoles include The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and The Who. These are the only modules we have seen come up for sale from the Studio Tempo Helios console, don't pass up this one time chance for a unique piece of history.
