For sale is a very rare pair of vintage Helios Modules. These come from legendary producer Martin Hannett's Strawberry Studio Helios console. Hannett's production credits include Joy Division and New Order and Strawberry Studios recorded artists such as The Smiths and The Stones Roses. These modules have the Helios 21133 amp card and Helios 2128 amp card, which are the same 2128/21133 mic pre-amp circuits as the famous 1969 desk modules, with high and bass shelving EQ with a switchable mid between 1.4KHz and 2.8KHz. These modules have been custom racked in house by our techs at Retro Gear Shop. They are in a 2U enclosure with custom built power supply. Each module has a separate mic and line input XLR jack as well as a pad, phase and phantom power switch and output level attenuation. Both modules have been serviced as needed and ready to go. Lovely vintage Helios mic preamp and eq tone. There's a great video available from 1980s showing Martin Hannett in the studio using the console with these. Don't miss out on these historic modules!
