For sale is an incredibly rare custom build Highland Dynamics BG-2 Table Top chassis desktop analog compressor. Serial #1 out of only 2 ever made. Perfect condition and hardly used. From original owner. The BG2 desktop is similar to the standard BG2, except with loads of upgrades in a stunning unique enclosure! This version is made with high end tubes and a different pair of output tubes than the off the shelf BG2, with el84’s on the outputs (similar to Scott 22 or Vox AC, a very musical tube). All the wire is full silver wire point to point hand made with upgraded input attenuation. Extra attack with 11 positions total and extreme slow release settings along with "Hold" release. There's also variable threshold on this unit to let you drive it harder for more harmonics and compression off attack setting to run it as a line amp and drive the tubes. Beautiful walnut sides finished with danish oil and wax polish. 15" width, 4.5" tall, 30 degree control panel slope. Bryce made it extreme as it gets.
