The Manley Neo-Classic 500W Monoblock represents the pinnacle of push-pull vacuum tube power amplification, delivering 470 watts of continuous output for commanding control over demanding loudspeaker systems. Hand-assembled in California with custom-wound Manley IRON® transformers, the Neo-Classic 500W provides both technical excellence and musical refinement.
Dual operating modes for distinct sonic characteristics
The Neo-Classic 500W offers selectable Triode and Ultra-Linear operating modes, each optimized for specific performance priorities. Triode mode delivers 200 watts with enhanced harmonic richness and three-dimensional soundstage depth characteristic of triode-connected output stages. Ultra-Linear mode provides 470 watts of output power with maximum dynamic capability, extended bass control, and the headroom required for complex orchestral passages and high-SPL reproduction. This mode flexibility enables precise matching to both musical material and loudspeaker requirements.
Advanced power supply architecture for dynamic authority
The amplifier's power supply employs high-capacity reservoir capacitors for instantaneous energy delivery during transient peaks and sustained low-frequency demands. This robust supply architecture ensures controlled bass response and dynamic impact across the full power bandwidth. Custom-wound Manley IRON® output transformers, continuously refined through in-house development, maintain wide bandwidth with low distortion while providing proper impedance matching and exceptional damping control throughout the audio spectrum.

The Neo-Classic 500W incorporates Soft-Start circuitry to minimize inrush current during power-up, extending component longevity and reducing mains stress. Ever-Warm standby mode maintains tubes at optimal operating temperature with minimal power consumption, ensuring the amplifier remains ready for immediate full-power operation. Bias adjustment controls and measurement points are conveniently accessed behind the front panel, simplifying routine tube maintenance and ensuring sustained performance over extended service intervals.
