For sale is a rare vintage McIntosh 225 Stereo Vacuum Tube Power Amplifier. It just returned from our tech with a full service, including new tubes and full recap. Please inspect the photos yourself to determine the condition and components. In excellent shape, and fully functional. The main thing to note is unfortunately some lettering has been polished off due to original owners cleaning it over the years, but I have seen another seller who has re-manufactured replacement chassis with lettering, so if you want to replace the chassis with a new one it is possible. Our tech labelled it appropriately to easily identify features. The special thing to about this unit is it is serial number 128C1, and these started at 100C1 in 1961 making this the 28th one ever produced. Quite rare to find such a clean early example, definitely a collectible and valuable unit for diehard McIntosh fans. We also have for sale a McIntosh C26 from 1963 in a separate listing.
