For sale is a rare vintage Neumann U47 microphone. It has the original BV08 transformer, Telefunken VF14 tube and original power supply. As best we could tell the capsule appears to be an original M7 capsule but reskinned by Thiersch. Due to design, it's very unlikely an original M7 capsule would still be operational 50+ years later, so a reskin is inevitable and necessary to make it operational. Please do your own visual inspection and research of internal components. It's in excellent shape and fully functional. Sounds fantastic as an original U47 mic should. Considered a holy-grail microphone for vocals and also an excellent long-term investment as the prices on these keep climbing. There are only so many of these Neumann U-47 microphones left with original components in good condition.
