For sale is a rare vintage Neumann U67 tube microphone. It's in good shape, working and sounds excellent. Previous owner stated that this exact mic came out of King Studios and was used to record James Brown and some of his early hits. We did not attempt to clean up any of the patina. Includes power supply, mic power cable, and original Neumann wood mic case box. According to one intern who worked at the previous owner's studio, this microphone was nicknamed "the freak" because of how incredibly good it sounded, even in comparison to other 67's. People would book and record at studio just to use this particular mic and it would blow away all other mic shootouts. Own a piece of recording history!
