Neve 83046 Stereo Compressor
For sale is an incredibly rare vintage Neve 83046 stereo compressor. This is essentially the same as a Metal Knob Neve 33609 Rev A Compressor Limiter and originally went in Neve 81 and 51 series consoles and operates off external 24V PSU as opposed to built-in PSU that a 33609 has. You can see from the internal electronics the design is similar with vintage Marinair transformers. It's an amazing sounding unit, makes everything you pass through it sound better and more alive. As previous owner put it, without this in his mix chain, his other compressors just sounded like plastic in comparison. It's fully functional and in great shape overall for its age. Includes external PSU and power cable. All knobs are included (one knob cap was missing but we found an identical original replacement so now all knobs are included). Don't pass this up!
