Presto 92-B Tube Preamp Stereo Pair

We have two total available as well as two Presto 92-A. Price listed is for a single unit. For sale is a very rare Presto 92B. These are tested and passing signal but noticed they have some hum in the signal path. They have the original caps and can be recapped for an additional costs by our in-house techs, contact us to add servicing to your order. We highly recommend a recap and believe this will help with the hum issues. Includes newly installed tubes (the cost was $250 in tubes for each unit).They pass signal and are operational as-is but recapping is a strong recommendation by our techs. Some of the biggest audio transformers we have ever seen, these things are beastly heavy and look amazing. They weigh about 80lbs each. Great sounding preamps with a lot of gain. They are wired to drive a 500 ohm balanced load but can also be configured to drive speakers. UTC input transformers and a MASSIVE output transformer. There is a 3 selection eq switch. “Out” is flat. “78” has a high end bump. “Nab Lat” is a high shelf around 15k. These little additions sound great on vocals. The “radius” switch doesn't seem to do anything as far as EQ goes. We have a pdf schematic available to provide to winning buyer. They hardly ever show up for sale, and you aren't likely to find another pair like this so close in serial numbers (272 & 287).
