For sale is a very rare vintage Pultec EQP1R. This unit is very similar to the EQP-1A, estimated manufacture period in the 1960s and a contemporary design or even possibly predating the EQP-1A. It's'similar to EQP-1A with some minor differences in EQ points and build. A few of the differences include: the EQP-1R has Peerless input transformers (highly desirable) and a 12ay7 preamp tube where an EQP-1A uses Triad transformer and a 12ax7 preamp tube. For EQ points, the low band has one less frequency (30, 60, 100hz) than the EQP-1A (which has 20, 30, 60, 100hz) and the hi band two less frequencies at 3, 5, 8, 10, 12khz (an EQP-1A has 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, 16). Cosmetically it has wear for its age, but it's been checked out by our techs and serviced as needed and is fully functional. Magical vintage Pultec EQ sound, awesome tone, nothing sounds quite like these originals.
