For sale is a rare vintage RCA 77D ribbon microphone. Just got professionally serviced with new ribbon. It's fully functional. Includes new XLR cable. It's in very clean shape overall for its age. These are classic RCA ribbon mics that sound fantastic on a variety of sources, especially vocals for a rich, smooth, velvety vintage tone.
Here is a short demo video of a couple improvised performances on banjo, acoustic guitar and voice. Recorded with a single vintage RCA 77D ribbon microphone going through a vintage Telefunken v76m microphone tube preamp into a Lynx Aurora(n) converter.
