Description

Simmons SDS5 / SDSV Modular Drum Synthesizer with Midi Modified. This unit was modified with midi added / serviced by "The Simmons Guy" Ed Rose as needed. It also includes the pictured drum pads that can be used for triggering it externally. It's tested and fully functional. As is common on all SDSV / limitation of the analog design, there is some minor ghost triggering. This is a great sounding vintage drum synth. From original owner's smoke-free private home studio, hardly used. Previously owned by David Frangioni (CEO of Modern Drummer magazine, David has worked with artists such as Shakira, Journey, Kiss, Ozzy Osbourne and many more). The drum synth in excellent shape overall with only minor signs of wear. The drum pads do show some wear. Contact us if you need to see additional photos.
