For sale is a very rare pair of vintage SpectraSonics 502 microphone preamps pulled from an original vintage SpectraSonics recording console. These are legendary mic pres that hardly ever show up for sale. Professionally racked, fully functional and well maintained. What makes this particular unit special is it came directly from historic Ardent Studios in Memphis TN, home to hundreds of classic recordings including many Gold, Platinum and Grammy-winning records (Led Zeppelin III, Big Star, loads of ZZ Top, The Staples Singers, Isaac Hayes, Leon Russell, The Bar-Kays, Bob Dylan, The White Stripes and many more). Each pre has a mic/line switch, -10 and -20 pad, polarity, 48v, mic gain knob, LF off, 50, 100, 200, 300hz with +/- 12db, HF off, 2.5, 5, 10, 15khz and eq in/out bypass switch. These are loaded with 4 total Spectra Sonics 101 Amplifiers cards (two cards per channel, one for the input amp and one for the output amp). Don't pass these up!
