The far-reaching demands of the modern audio engineer — portability, precision, and uncompromising sonic integrity — come to life in the mini Stereo. Designed to deliver true stereo ribbon performance in a compact, studio-ready format, it offers the depth and realism of classic ribbon designs without the bulk traditionally associated with them.
With a remarkably flat frequency response at a distance of one foot, the mini Stereo excels in close-miking applications. Acoustic guitars retain their body and articulation without exaggerated boom. Drum overheads capture cymbals with smooth, integrated shimmer while preserving the punch and weight of the kit. The presentation is balanced, natural, and effortlessly musical.
At its core are hand-wound dual toroidal transformers, engineered for exceptional headroom, depth, and phase coherence between channels. Precision laser-cut ribbons ensure consistency and transient accuracy, while powerful neodymium magnets provide sensitivity and output that rival much larger stereo assemblies.
The result is lifelike stereo imaging with stunning realism. Sources occupy space with dimension and depth. The stereo field feels cohesive, not artificial. What you hear is not hype or coloration — but the true character of the instrument in the room.
Compact in form, expansive in sound — the mini Stereo redefines what a modern stereo ribbon microphone can be.
