For sale is a very rare vintage Studer B62 reel to reel. Originally owned by Sterling Mastering in NYC. Then purchased by current owner in 1977 for The Diskwerks Mastering Studio in Chicago area, where it was used as the recorder of the EQ'd copy of masters for distribution to overseas lacquer cutting, with final signal processing approved by the labels (creating a tape copy of the master signal processing for consistency of distributed vinyl worldwide). It then was sold to Hank at MasterMix from the early 80s through mid-2010s before being purchased back by the 1977/current owner. It's in great shape and fully functional. It's been recapped and maintained as needed. Includes some spares.
