For sale is a vintage Teletronix Model LA2A Revision 2C (not the Universal Audio reissue), estimated manufacturing year 1967 - 1968 based on serial #1259. It's in excellent condition for its age and 100% functional. What makes this particular LA-2A special is it came directly from historic Ardent Studios in Memphis TN, home to hundreds of classic recordings including many Gold, Platinum and Grammy-winning records (Led Zeppelin III, Big Star, loads of ZZ Top, The Staples Singers, Isaac Hayes, Leon Russell, The Bar-Kays, Bob Dylan, The White Stripes and many more). This revision has the legendary UTC HA-100X input transformer that makes these original LA-2A so desirable. Amazing classic tube compressor that's especially great for vocals, every studio should have a vintage LA-2A in their arsenal.
