This PM1000 has the following upgrades:
- External PSU with long power cable (no more crappy internal psu), with excess amperage for better headroom. This is a switch mode power supply, meaning it is more efficient (and less $ on your electric bill), but has extra filtering on the output for audio. This work would cost easily $1500+ from a tech
- 14 direct outs on elco cable, w/ transformers
- Completely recapped, with higher value caps providing more headroom and lower bass response
- EQ Neve Mod (classic mod for a PM1000)
